You could try organizing the end of your local settings file, by using commented-out text to create sections.
If that still wouldn't work, you could request that the Community Wiki setup an ADVH wiki for you. I might be a few days slow in doing that at the current moment though. It's one of the services we were thinking offering.

I strongly recommend against anything that deletes accounts. On Farmer wikis, it could screw up every single wiki.
If someone is making sock puppet accounts for vandalism/trolling, just block them and rename the account. If you really need to, you can suppress the records in the username change log.

I think the admins here would have to come to us if they plan to leave for a while and ask if anyone wants to be admin. However, on advh wikis, it might be possible for Wikkii to use a maintenance script or something to set someone as an admin.
I think it would be a really good idea though.

As long as you seem reliable that you will set up the wiki, you can.
Usually you need to have a farmer wiki for a while first, but it is possible to go straight to advanced hosting.
You would need to use the Cpanel to setup the wiki. Even if you don't use it after that, you would still need to use it at first when you create the wiki.

I think you can have a bot that uses the regular interface. However, I think it's also a lot more complex and slower to use a bot that way. You can try researching bots on Mediawiki.org.
I think the reason for disabling it is to prevent spam. It might be possible to enable it for the bot user group though, which would be safe and useful.

I don't think anyone will think you're advertising; we all have the same problem. I've actually stretched myself across a few too many wikis.
I think the best thing to do is to try to find places where there are people who are interested in what you wiki is for. For example, it might be good search for blogs or forums on your topic and post comments about your wiki and possibly offer it as a resource for anyone with a related project. It might seem awkward to go around posting about your wiki, but as long as it's clear that you're just one guy and your project is run by some big corporation, most people won't care. It also helps if your wikis is the only resource on that subject.
I might stop by to see if there's ever anything I can help with
