I suppose that could have happened. Although he did actually show up here once randomly after the transfer.  If that did happen though, I'm sure that they would have a way to get into the server.  I'm sure they'd have some way of resetting passwords.

Everytime I try to backup through phpmyadmin, the server fails, and I'm left with a 0.00kb backup of my database.

Any advice on a tool or method I could use to backup without creating all hell breaking loose?
