Seems a lot of .svg files when copy/pasting wikipedia content renders on my wikkii. So I guess I'm confused as to why allowing /svg file upload support on our wikkii's is not going to be enabled/supported?

Okay after looking at this page I see that the issue is that we have passthru disabled server wide, for security reasons.
Having a look around, it does not appear as though there are any other options for SVG, I'm afraid. Sorry about that, we cannot enable passthru at this time.
I don't know if it is necessary to disable passthru for a secure system. I also don't know if there is another way to get SVG to work.
As you mentioned, Wikipedia seems to have it working despite the alleged security risk. But then Wikipedia also has dozens of programmers and the Wikimedia foundation behind them as well :).
