I added the extension to the wiki, and when I select the multi upload extension from the list of special pages on the wiki, I get this:

http://sturmkreig.wikkii.net/mediawiki-1.16.0/index.php?title=Special:MultipleUpload

Can anyone help me fix this?

This is what line 72 looks like:

parent::UploadForm($request);

your page says only admins can view the page, so we regular viewers have no idea what error message is there

it is advisable that you read up first on the hub's pages and the many links to Mediawiki Foundation's help pages before installing any extensions, in particular backing up original mediawiki files. At no point should you be modifying the .php files of the individual extension or SQL tables , unless you are a developer / programmer yourself.

there are also other threads in this forum that deal with this:
http://wikkii.com/forums/index.php?topic=247.0

also get your short URLs right, your folder should not be mediawiki-1.16.0/, pls read up on the rookie's guide and their links  smile

If I can create a second FTP account for editing the site, would you be able to help out with setting up the wiki?  I saw that you have an advanced wiki.

Thanks

If I can create a second FTP account for editing the site, ...

FTP is for file transfers only (uploads and downloads), it is not an application for managing web sites like the cPanel.

If you really want to manage a wiki using wikkii's advanced hosting service, there is really no shortcut, you will simply have to learn how to administer all these MW extensions, php coding etc. There are forums that you can visit for assistance, some have been listed in the hub.wikkii.com

If you find these are all too much for you to handle by yourself, you may wish to look for alternative wiki hosting sites. Use your search engine to perform a query for 'wiki farms' and you should be able to find some. The more well-known ones currently are wikia, shoutwiki etc.

Please note that my statement above should not be seen as an endorsement of any of these sites.

Exercise your own judgment when selecting which service to go for.
