Dears,
Geographic location and data Is very important to my wiki subject/objectives. I have an wikkii farm to support organic agriculture in Brazil. How can I get access to that extension ? My wiki have not enough audience to become an Advanced Wiki, but if I dont show the advantages (i.e. Geographic features for example) to my users, it never will be one. So, I'm in a circular problem... Sorry my poor english.

This extension still appears to be in beta, so it's not something that I would really want to install at this time.

Ricardo,

Perhaps there might be some ways to work around this to get geographic location and data.  Which wiki is your wiki?  Maybe we could figure out some ways that would help.

Thanks for your help. My wiki is http://cporgsc.wikkii.com. Years ago I used an extension to allow this feature. I dont remember the name. But was very easy to use and works fine to me. If you have a work around I can use, please. This will be very useful.

Unfortunately, I don't see any way to embed an interactive map without an extension.  All I can do is put in an image.

Unless an extension is added to Farmer wikis or he goes to Advanced Hosting, I can't figure out any way.

Sorry, but I didn't turn out to be very helpful on this.

Well, Fanra. Thanks for your attempt. I was system and network administrator for many years. I have skill in Linux(good), Solaris (regular), FreeBSD (weak) and ... vi. I know very well about LocalSettings and Mediawiki maintenance tasks. I could have an advanced wiki to this work and manage it by myself. Lets wait to see if my wiki will grow to deserve it.
