I've tried to login to Conservapedia and it seems someone has loaded some malware there. My PC just locks with an enforced wikibreak message and I had to reboot as it won't let me go to another Firefox screen. Assistance would be appreciated, I'm reluctant to go there with this PC as I've already lost a couple of days work and my main PC is now unusable - if I reboot and go back into Firefox it keeps forcing my screen back to the Enforced wikibreak message.

The code is here: http://conservapedia.wikkii.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Monobook.js
Go and change it (or blow away the file) if you have administrator rights.

It's javascript code that keeps forcing you to log out, there seems to be a glitch, because it keeps repeating the code, and it clearly isn't supposed to do so.

Sir. Berty put the script there, he probably wanted to put it in his user js but screwed up.
Now he probably is also locked out of the wiki, doesn't know how to fix it and can't do a thing. Since he probably wanted a vacation from the wiki, he won't be back any time soon to fix it.

Ways to fix it on your side:
1- Disable javascript in your browser. You have noscript, right?
2- Use a different skin (that js only affects monobook)
3- Try to talk to one of the administrators there:

    Sir. Berty
    True Conservative

Hum... "Please note that we respect the day of rest and do not allow editing on the Sabbath."
Does he put that js script on Sundays!?!?

Hi Nidek, I am Droit de Seigneur, but I'm afraid Sir. Berty would appear to have gone rogue on us. He'd just returned from a long break and I fear he his account may have been suborned. We were looking for better ways to prevent the ungodly from viewing the site on the Sabbath as the only way we had required a change to the settings immediately before and after the day of rest. But it doesn't seem to be an unsuccessful experiment to enforce the Sabbath as he has now deleted or hidden everything. I'm unable to logon and change my skin as logging on loads malware on my PC and freezes Firefox.

Which is why I've come to this forum seeking help. Ideally I'd like Conservapedia to be restored to what it was a few days ago before Sir. Berty created that Monobook.js file. But if the monobook.js is deleted I can at least try to logon and start undeleting everything. Alternatively if the site can be shifted to an alternative default skin I could get past the malware.

Oh, I didn't notice that you are one of the other administrators.

Then see this: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/JavaScript#w_enabling-and-disabling-javascript
Once you have disabled javascript in firefox, go to the wiki, logon and edit the js file. Enable javascript after that.

Thanks I've disabled javascript but it would seem that whoever now has the Sir. Berty account has blocked my IP and done something to prevent me logging in.

As long as Sir. Berty doesn't have bureaucrat rights, you can remove your own IP block (because he can't remove your admin rights). I made an account to check out what's going on, but viewing pages has been restricted to admin group. I have no idea why you can't login.

HeavenO! I am Conservatism, one of the other Castellans serving at the site. It appears Sir. Berty has done some serious damage and the site is now unable to be accessed at all. I have tried to instruct the elves to open a page after logging in and I get the permission error page. I have set up an alternative site on another domain, but I would hope to access this site at least to grab some of the articles exclusive to that domain. Any help in that regard would be great.-Conservatism X X MMXI

Thanks Conservatism. I had hoped to recover the site here. But if that proves impractical a new home would be best. I fear my articles on the Gold Standard and Che Guevara will need rewriting if we are unable to recover this site. Droit de Seigneur XI X MMXI

Wikkii takes backups of the wikis, but the admin seems to be missing right now. :\ Anyway, he should be able to recover the wiki.
