The title says it all!

I want to restrict edit access to my wiki to registred users only.
it works OK but i did find a way to prevent anybody to create an account and log.

How can i restrict account creation?
Can somebody kindly points to a solution?

You need to have advanced hosting to be able to restrict account creation.

Do you think i can request advance hosting just to do that?
I do not really plan to use ftp or Cpanel access....

As long as you seem reliable that you will set up the wiki, you can.

Usually you need to have a farmer wiki for a while first, but it is possible to go straight to advanced hosting.

You would need to use the Cpanel to setup the wiki.  Even if you don't use it after that, you would still need to use it at first when you create the wiki.
