Hello, it's me again, EpicWikipedian.
Recently, I have got extremely stressed and annoyed with Wikia for what they have did to me and other people, and they are clearly abusing their near-monoply over providing wikis. Probably, we are the second largest wiki farm, behind Wikia, but we still only have several thousand wikis, of which only about 100 are active. Wikia has over 275,000 wikis (last time I checked), and over 100 staff members.
Yes, we've all heard the argument about "genetically modified food". Yes, we all hate the fact that Facebook owns everything you post on there. But Wikia has absolutely no excuses to be a part of the internet. For this reason, I am proposing that we organise an Anti-Wikia program, where there is a team of people who move wikis from Wikia onto Wikkii for them, and help explain the reasons why Wikia is not suitable for their wiki.
If there are at least 3 other people who would like to help out with this project, we will launch this project, and the process of moving wikis should be noticeably faster thanks to this project. It will be a part of, and directly located on, Community Wiki. Thanks for listening.
