Download the extension from mediawiki.org and then extract it on your pc (not the file manager's one, it can't extract it for some reason). Then compress the ChecUser files to CheckUser.zip (so uplading takes less time) and put it to your extensions folder to a folder named CheckUser. Then extract the files.

Now you must ask here for admins to run the install.php to make the db changes (install.php must be run from command line that needs shell access and of course, only wikkii admins can run it).

After wikkii admin have told you that it is done add include_once('extensions/CheckUser/CheckUser.php'); somewhere in LocalSettings.php.

I have uploaded files as required, so please run the install.php. These have been uploaded to /public_html/extensions/CheckUser

I have installed it but it is giving this error

CU creates usegroup called Check User. Just give yourself Check User right.
